This is Turritopsis nutricula a jellyfish which is capable of completely reverting to the polyp stage after ending it's life as a mature adult. This is like an adult dying and returning as an infant without any help. The only way these jellyfish die is from being attacked by predators.zzzizzzizzzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13983230593074953977noreply@blogger.com25tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3645108029829629141.post-82854358509556910252010-10-15T06:33:00.000-07:002010-10-15T06:33:56.018-07:00Another cool background i found

They grow up to 1.5mm long, live in every eco system in the world and can survive everything that should kill a biological organism. They can survive 1 degree above absolute zero, 6000 times earths atmospheric pressure, complete dehydration, boiling temperatures, they can even survive in the vacuum of space. They're also known to switch their bodies off and then come back to life decades later. You can definitely find them all over your property. zzzizzzizzzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13983230593074953977noreply@blogger.com22tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3645108029829629141.post-5848535445540871072010-10-13T04:59:00.000-07:002010-10-13T05:12:47.956-07:00Cool background
